Jesus - its now by stars the number 4 repo in all of GitHub after… 1 week
Shows you how much Github stars matter when evaluating a candidate programmer. ;)
If I’m interviewing a guy 130k stars on github for an agitprop piece, I will hire without thinking it twice.
The thing is they either are good at writing that motivates people to act or were just essentially lucky at one point in time. I’d want to know different by looking at whether they made waves often. If so, they could be good at marketing, leadership, and/or support. If not, maybe not worth it.
I am reminded by a musical about the band The Four Seasons… It was the third time that they’d made the top charts that they knew they really we’re good instead of lucky.
