Glad to see that Thunderbird will use rnp as OpenPGP library. Diversification sure does not hurt the current state of the OpenPGP FOSS ecosystem. And I hear only positive reports about rnp, while my trust in gnupg diminishes more and more (cf. https://dev.gnupg.org/T5050). Another promising OpenPGP implementation is Sequoia.
