One issue I didn’t stress enough in that post is, there’s currently one person (me) in charge of too many things in this project. Many things have to be done periodically, and the solution I found to avoid forgetting them is to run them from the computer I use every day, and add notifications. Since that computer is a laptop, it isn’t always on, and so fcron (like anacron) makes sure things run even when my computer is sleeping.
Is there something special about
fcron
that makes it different enough from othercron
implementations to make it worth mentioning? One issue I didn’t stress enough in that post is, there’s currently one person (me) in charge of too many things in this project. This was supposed to be “one super basic” not “super one basic” ?
Indeed, thanks for your attention, this is fixed now.
