    Rather, the difference is one of heuristics–thinking about information hiding inspires and promotes design decisions that thinking about objects does not.

    It’s near the end of the article but one of my biggest, general takeaways came from the “Heuristic Value” section. Namely, designing in terms of implementation, i.e. class/component structures or what not, is limiting in ways we often don’t realize, like a version of the einstellung effect, and learning to ask new kinds of questions is always a pretty good thing.
