It’s near the end of the article but one of my biggest, general takeaways came from the “Heuristic Value” section. Namely, designing in terms of implementation, i.e. class/component structures or what not, is limiting in ways we often don’t realize, like a version of the einstellung effect, and learning to ask new kinds of questions is always a pretty good thing.
