Years ago, Minix3’s next release was on hold due to release blockers on the release candidate.
It took a long time, but they were solved. Unfortunately, the release hasn’t happened because there’s nobody available to put in the release manager hours to make it happen. And thus the project is stuck.
I wish the netbsd community could actually adopt minix. The netbsd in Andy’s talk name might be his way of pushing for that to happen.
