Do they mean that the chip has audio processing built-in? Or that the Pico has a built-in mic? The standalone RP2040 doesn’t have the capability to take in audio by itself, does it??

The author meant the development board they’re using, the Arduino Nano RP2040 Connect, which does have a built in mic.
