Theo de Raadt had a similar opinion: “x86 virtualization is about basically placing another nearly full kernel, full of new bugs, on top of a nasty x86 architecture which barely has correct page protection. Then running your operating system on the other side of this brand new pile of shit.”
This is a lot more interesting than most introductions to Qubes that I’ve seen.
Asking people to invest time and perhaps money is a big ask, so it’s nice to get walked through what life might be like using Qubes.

I agree with that, but I’ll probably end up choosing Qubes over say, Arch, at this point.
Does any of that FUD come with a citation (or a comparison to other security methods), or is it completely made up?
