I tried DDD a couple years back but gave up quickly when it didn’t immediately work and I saw the last release was in 2009. It’s impressive that it still works today after modifying config files. Maybe I’ll have to give it another try sometime soon. I recall being originally interested in DDD because of the graphical display of data structures.
I’ve always just used print statements and valgrind but this might motivate me to try out DDD. The latest release being 13 years old bodes well for long-term longevity and ensures I won’t be forced to accept disruptive updates after integrating a tool into my workflow.
