I once saw something kind of like this at a local robotics meetup ages ago. It used a bunch of motors scrounge from old printers. It used an inch worm gait rather than a slither, and 3d printers sucked at the time so it was made of carefully exacto’d plastic.
I was probably 14, I found a bunch of those printers and disassembled them for their servos. My parents remodeled the ink spills out of their carpet 10 years later, but I’ve still got 20 weird shaped micro servos. Success kid dot jaypeg.
