“I found that it is not going to run on any SMP hardware made after 1994 or 1995”… why am I not surprised? OS/2 is by far the worst operating system I’ve come across when it comes to intolerance of anything but the developers’ own hardware: i.e. unexpected clock speeds and so on.
I used it for several years to host DOS development tools for embedded systems work but frankly: some things are best left dead.
