The game is a criticism/satire of all the bad practices perpetrated by modern apps.

The first couple of minutes seem mild, but afterwards, “Stimulation mechanisms” keep building up via design patterns.

If you’d like to finish it (I did, it takes about 30 minutes of non-stop clicking) you’ll realize you’ve become a slowly-boiled frog, and hopefully, you’ll be aware of how those strategies are being used against you.

Everything I hear about it makes it sound like I absolutely need to avoid it if I know what’s good for me. Hopefully that means I’ve at least half won the battle.

Does the game intentionally start lagging wildly when you activate “travel through space and time” or does it just perform poorly?
