      it needs to run Windows applications. You’ll need to reconfigure NetBSD to allow this abuse, because by default NetBSD is fairly strict.

      Running NetBSD 10 or -current? Then you don’t need to do this.

      Does this mean that NetBSD 10 and newer is less strict? Or did they manage to find some alternative to the user LDT setting?

        Hi it means configuration to kernel needed to run wine will be turned on in Generic kernel
