    Definitely interesting results, but seems to have some selection bias at play. 85% of developers using a compile-to-js language? I doubt that it’s at all representative of “typical” JavaScript developers. :-)

      Absolutely. Generally I would assume that those JavaScript developers inclined to read professional JavaScript development sites like PonyFoo are also more likely to be using current best-practices and tools compared to the entrirety of the JavaScript development population. There’s also the confounding issue of who among the PonyFoo readers chooses to participate in a survey about developers, and how much that secondary source of selection bias influences the results.
