Hmm, reminds me of the infamous “Bluetooth doesn’t work if USB 3.0 devices are nearby” issue of a few years back (see HT203729). That wasn’t limited to Macs though - it was an Intel chipset issue IIRC.
Also concerning for me are the dongle issues, like the Display Port one experienced by the author. Yes, a dock may resolve the problem but they’re another expense…
