Whenever I try to act this way around my partner, I receive armchair-psychology diagnoses of autism or similar. They think I’m too “logical” and not “emotional” enough. They get very frustrated with me when I try to work through things in an orderly fashion.
I imagine most of the audience here exhibits some of the traits that frustrate my partner so much. How do you deal with these traits? How do you lead a normal life and “emote” correctly to other people? Do you have difficulty empathising with others, making them feel wanted, appreciated, valued?
