Being an engineer should mean having an innate curiosity.
A small point, but since this is the thesis of a rather important section, I must say I disagree. I would not describe accounting for what might go wrong as curiosity. It’s caution. I would not list curiosity as among the key attributes of an engineer building a bridge.
