I expected bad news, but R9 actually sounds really exciting, and might get me to fool around with plan 9 ecosystem stuff again for the first time in years.
It’s not the original Plan 9 source code (so it’s technically not the Plan 9), but it’s a Plan 9. It sounds to me that the differences are basically just in flavour.
