I think Darius Bacon tried out NixOS recently, but I don’t remember him expressing an opinion about how well it worked. It certainly sounds like the right direction to go in.

The description makes it sound like they have Tor-style deterministic builds (rationale, technical details) for all their packages, but that seems like a pretty surprising claim to make; you’d think they’d emphasize it more if they’ve actually achieved that. Any idea?
