People commonly think that Dylan hasn’t evolved beyond where it was in the 1990s, and indeed, much of the core specification and standard library remains the same. (The surrounding libraries and the implementation of the language have advanced in that time.)

I’m now proposing that the Dylan community begin to make some changes to the core specification and standard library to reflect advances of the last 18 years.
