    I hate to damp someone’s enthusiasm but oh, dog, that is amateur. I like the D language, used it as a better C for the last few years, but this doesn’t help sell it.

      i thought it was pretty cute. also it’s simple and recognisable, which are good qualities for a mascot.

        Likely since it’s a sort of superhero naming convention.

        Any which way I think it’s a bad mascot. Slap some eyes and limbs on a letter? Bleh. I really think they could do better. Clippy-level design right there.

          what’s wrong with clippy’s design? it served its purpose of being distinctive and iconic

          I had the same thought. It’s a letter. There’s no reason to slap a gender onto it.
