I’ve never heard the term “community animator” before but I absolutely recognize it. In the active projects I’ve been involved in I feel like that work can be just as time consuming as as the coding.
Maybe the term “Community Manager” is more frequent. And when it happens in a closed environemnent (like a company), I believe that “project manager” is more or less the same kind of stuff.
