I like that this boilerplate references the Scotch.io article, since my experience with many boilerplates is that they don’t explain why the author thinks it’s a better way to go than what already exists.

I’d like to see more about how this differs from the article and what other “different patterns I’ve found to be helpful as well” actually are.
