The conclusion from the article:

Building a keyboard with your own two hands is awesome. It’s also way easier than you might think. If you’re thinking about buying an ergonomic keyboard you might as well build one yourself. It’s a fun project, not overly expensive (if you have the tools) and you get exactly what you want.

This is impressive; I would not have expected cutting the case with a hand saw to be accurate enough to seat the switches. Great write-up.

You are taking your time crafting awesome hardware and at the end you are blind for a little tiny moment and you put ugly screw. Remove the screw, fill up the void and think about better join. I think that moment before adding the screw was perfect time to take some longer break. I perfectly understand the author as repeatedly I’m catching myself with the same problem - finding a proper moment for a break before ruining my work by stupid mistake.

So, except the obvious issue - marvellous job!
