GitHub Learning Lab is an app that gives you a learning experience you can actively participate in, without leaving GitHub. Their friendly bot will take you through a series of practical, fun labs that will give you the skills you need in no time. With GitHub Learning Lab, you’ll learn through issues opened by a bot in a GitHub repository. After you finish tasks, the bot will comment on your work and even review your pull requests like a project collaborator would.
Interesting. I wonder if this is in response to a flood of new programmers from bootcamps, or perhaps non-technical users? It could very well be just a new learning tool, as well, but it seems like a fairly simple webapp to use for most established developers.
Looks pretty cool at a glance. I’ll try to give it a more thorough look-over this weekend. I’d love to have a solid intro to how to practically use GitHub that I can recommend to new programmers.
