I’m pretty sure complete beginners may find an all-in-one post helpful, but it’s still a retelling of the tutorials of GitHub, Jekyll, and Netlify. We all here likely have seen all of them separately here. ;)
I’d be more interested in things tutorials do not say. For example, why Jekyll uses dates embedded in post file names rather than in front matter? In that approach, how do you include a precise time in the post metadata, e.g. to correctly sort posts made in the morning and in the evening of the same day?
That’s pretty much all the content I’ve seen from that blog: just a re-hash of the same old stuff.
I wish the domain filtering was a thing…
