    This makes NES programming seem quite accessible! I’ve done some GBA stuff and really enjoyed it; is it fair to say the concepts are similar, even though the NES is obviously less powerful? I want to make something now.

      The concepts are very similar. I think the biggest difference is that handling bank switching and mappers is a bit of a pain, that one doesn’t have on the GBA.
