I’ve been pondering something like this. I use a RPi with my music mounted on a read-only NFS share, but I have a couple of old phones that might work better. The main problem is security updates. I don’t really want an insecure device on my network and LineageOS’s update always requires some manual intervention. Idk love to see a Debian or similar that used the Android kernels that I could flash onto these devices and just use them like headless servers.
