Mirai is coded in Go (a.k.a. “Golang”), a somewhat esoteric programming language developed by Google in 2007 that saw a surge in popularity in 2016.

I wouldn’t really call Go esoteric

    Also this article is fantastic

Krebs is writing for a less technical audience, so some explanations are needed, but in some cases they’re a bit… off?

Golang thrown in into a pretty generic skill set narrows down the search a lot. Probably down to the order of 0.1%.

Its pretty mainstream and one of the fastest growing languages at the moment iirc.

Anna-Senpai says he watched the anime series “Gate,” a reference to the above-mentioned B Gata H Hei that Dreadiscool included in the list of anime film series he’s watched.

No, Gate is a different series. And Krebs says “anime film” a lot which is wrong - we’re talking about anime TV series here.

Also weird not to mention that Anna-senpai is from Shimoneta (clear from the profile pic - interestingly it isn’t on that MyAnimeList - maybe he doesn’t keep it updated these days). And of course Applejack refers to My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

he would have also noted that referring to yourself as “-Senpai” is another sign of the type of arrogance his target possesses.

For someone who actually knows Japanese, yes. For someone who’s just making a reference to a character it’s probably just because that’s what she’s known as in the show.
