It’s reassuring that they have identified their strengths and areas that could use improvement in opening up positions such as PostgreSQL Expert. Although I’m sure they would have a better chance of hiring a top-notch person if it were open to remote and not just local to Amsterdam, once they have some additional infrastructure/scaling/database folks around, scaling issues like this will become routine (i.e. not blog-worthy).
