I left a comment on your repository, just also curious what other people have done with the start page besides “Donate to Uganda”, maybe a rotating series of tips would be useful as well.
I actually thought about that before. Although I planned to put that into an own plugin.
Vim ships with a reference, user manual and FAQ, but still I see a lot of people coming in #vim always asking the same questions.. so yes, there seems to be a niche for sure.
Then again I have lots of stuff planned, and the next release will be the ultimate plugin for Go programming! :–]
I had no idea you could customize the start screen. Are there other plugins that do this?
