    Perhaps to understand the title a bit better, I suggest people scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the “sponsored by modern.IE” logo. ^_^

    The article itself seems to be too much ado about nothing…

      Are you suggesting that PPK is writing hatchet jobs about MS competitors' technologies because Microsoft sponsors some of his work? That seems a rather strong accusation.

        It’s a particularly disconcerting accusation given that the article makes no effort to urge people to abandon Chrome in favor of something else. It simply catalogs the rise of slightly varied Chromium browsers on mobile devices, which may require independent testing (beyond a single Chrome test) to guarantee proper site rendering.

          Yeah - I like Android and mobile Chrome a lot, but I sympathize with PPK here. Testing for all these versions must be quite difficult. His article is factual and not judgmental about anything beyond that.
