    This really shows off the power of the Pico — the programmable I/O hardware can do high-speed work like generating a VGA or composite-video signal, and the dual CPUs let rendering run in real time without being bogged down by application code. Not bad for a $1 chip.

    It’s too bad you need to dig up an old display to use this. I imagine HDMI, even at the lowest resolutions, is too high bandwidth for the Pico to keep up with.
