I’d suggest it’s time to invert that - to think about mobile as the real internet and the desktop as the limited, cut-down version.
Why anything has to be “cut-down” at all? Desktop internet is perfectly fine as it is, what’s the point?
I think the divide is fairly obvious. Lay users use mobile. Professionals use Desktop / Laptops.
