    It’s a very nice project, but it won’t save the world. The Chromium codebase is so huge that you can’t really de-google it completely and AFAIK even the project author admits that. In many places the code is replaced by mocks and many hardcoded values / domains are set to random strings rather than replacing the whole logic instead.

    So while I really like this project and even use it on a few machines, I completely undestand this is not 100% private or secure and should not be considered as “ungoogled” mostly because the single person (or even a small team) just can’t understand and cover the whole Chromium codebase with their minds.
