Came across this post https://j3s.sh/thought/recover-lost-text-by-coredumping-firefox.html by @j3s a few days ago and fell down a little rabbit hole of learning all about the /proc file system and ptrace. I’m afraid that it’s now more or less inevitable that I’ll end up writing my own debugger now.
