What irritates me the most about this breach is the way notifications are being sent out. I did not get one and like mentioned in the blog post most probably because I change my password more than once since 2012. This feels irresponsible as makes people think that they were not part of the leaked data. The problem I do have though is not being sure what password I used back then and if it remains reused on some account I forgot about. I’m using keepassx now but it’s hard to account for how I kept track of things in 2012. I am at least aware that a my linkedin password from 2012 is out, many people are not.
