Skimming this, it seems like a solid idea. Tbh I think that anything in this “better sql” space will only succeed when bundled with a database engine that is vastly better than existing things (just enormously fast and easy to use) or compatible with existing things and better because the language is so much better (think adapting your favorite database to natively understand your favorite better sql), combined with a marketing budget.
