(author of link, self posting) I rarely post my own blog in many places, since I tend to talk about niche stuff… and this one kinda is too, but I came into it to fix a compiler and make a test program as a relative newbie. Of course, I’m not new to D, been there for ages, and have done some work on the Objective-C ABI in the past, but I am new to hacking on the llvm based compiler and really had to have my hand held through even making the hello world on the iphone, so I thought I’d write it up in more detail than usual and share in case someone else is interested in some of that stuff too.
