I’ve never seen anyone waste time on an HTML5-canvas-based fingerprinting attack in the wild, and I can’t believe it would be practical. Timing-based attacks are going to be very sensitive to jitter on busy webpages (the kinds with lots of ads who are doing lots of tracking), and why would they bother? localStorage still works great, and the few places it doesn’t, well, we’ve got etag…

        Panopticlick doesn’t work in Brave.

Why? Is it broken, or intentionally made to not run panopticlick?

I’m not sure. Oddly enough it works on Desktop but not when I tried it on mobile…

On Desktop the fingerprinting results in a unique fingerprint for Brave. Which is kinda really scary. If Brave can’t manage to get this right then there’s little hope for the other (existing) browsers. FYI, it was the System Fonts that killed Brave (uniquely identifying it).
