I’ve run into a few pieces of software, mostly Electron based pseudo web apps, where the AltGr key was in general broken and e.g. I couldn’t type ø (AltGr-o) on a Brazilian keyboard layout (which I use, despite not being Brazilian or speaking Portuguese, because it has easy access to a lot of Latin alphabet diacritics I might want to type).
It’s always a good opportunity to remind the anglophone developer world that there’s more to language than latin-1.
Regarding the bit about RSI-fodder ergonomics: I will again shamelessly plug my layout which solves these ;)
