There’s not enough information in the readme to understand what services it’s using without digging through the code. I’ve never heard of SimplyTranslate; would love an alternative to Google Translate. Their website seems like it’s all paid services, although there is this Firefox extension:
Is there a web interface similar to translate.google.com?
Invidious and Nitter are obvious (I was running my own Invidious, but it was slow, had frequent timeouts and with your subscriptions easy to download/upload, switching to a public instance like yewtu.be makes a lot of sense).
I’m guessing for search redirects it’s using Duckduckgo or a Searx instance. What is it using for Reddit? Is there a nitter like interface for Reddit?
Have you tested the extension on M1 Mac’s? (Might just be the case of the App Store version)
I have enabled all of the redirects and it does not work google.com, translate.google.com, youtube.com, maps.google.com nor reddit.com(or old.reddit.com). Only one that works is Twitter. Opened an issue.
