I don’t know how others feel, but ths cringy “highlights” video on that page makes me not want to watch any of that. I don’t understand why people think that anyone cares about their in joke and attempts at humor. It feels alienating.
At a quick glance, the highlights video is (entirely?) the two MCs. You can probably get a more representative sample of the talks by looking at talks and keynotes from previous years.
Yes, I’m not a fan of their humor either. However, the “comedy” bits are just a way to transition from a talk to another, the talks themselves are given by independent speakers that all have their own style. I remember liking a few of last year’s talks, this year’s talks about Neovim Internals, Webassembly, State of Neovim, Zed and Vim9Script/VimLC all sound potentially interesting too.
