I’m curious what lobsters would come up if given, say, only 5 sentences/bullet-points to describe a reasonable code of ethics for our profession.
I joined the ACM, a bit over a year ago, because I’ve been active in calling for stronger ethics in the tech industry, and I wanted to be able to say that I’m bound by this code of ethics. It’s a good one.
What’s the point of posting this here? Why is this code of ethics worth me spending (at least….) several minutes to read through it?
