That firmware reminds me of a network cam I looked at years ago. RW filesystem and loading a new firmware didn’t delete my extra files.
I’m kind of disappointed by modern Android smart devices and no obvious way of getting a shell, or perhaps I’m wearing blinders and they’re just as bad (suggestions welcome! I hate my TV and want to debug it, but it has no exposed USB for adb).

Check if enabling USB debugging on your TV also silently enables networked adb. IIRC, it enabled remote debugging on the default port 5555 on my Coocaa TV at home. Then just use adb connect $tv and you’re in.
