So, the article says that the reason why they went for this format (Daily Mail, CNN etc) is that articles often have bullet points that summarize the article and they use that as annotation - the algorithm learns the bullet points as summaries of the article. It’s a neat approach, but I wonder what the algorithm can really learn. Is the idea to have a “summarizer” for text.?
