    Overall quite a nice interactive article on design and usability.

    I only have one minor quibble though, not sending notifications when a new show or podcast episode is available is a good thing. Users are drowning in notifications already. Personally I disable everything except Signal notifications from close friends and family.

      Totally understand if you already have a strong habit of going back to podcasts (and you know when they come out)! I’ve personally disabled (almost) all notifications on my phone, so I wouldn’t mind having a notification for a podcast that I care about!

      As long as the user is in control of what he can and can’t receive, I think it’s fair!

      This format is cute, but I realized something about the comic book format that isn’t true when the next frames just appear - the chat bubbles are hard to follow. In paper form, I’ll mark out where they are unconsciously and slide my gaze from bubble to bubble, but having them pop up in digital form makes it decidedly less smooth to read.
