Yeah, if you check the fork network you can look through all the forks and some have been updated to post the URL to their sites where it’s running. I don’t know of any that have become widely used though, most are very specialized communities.
I haven’t yet, but I plan on using the Lobsters codebase for a biotech link site. I work on a newsletter called Biotech Weekly and once our subscriber count grows I’ll release a link site and invite everyone to join. Right now we have over 100 subscribers, but we’ll be promoting ourselves at a few upcoming conferences.
