      I think the problem he identifies is real, but I don’t necessarily agree with his approach to tacking it. Personally, I think making open source platforms like Mastodon that provide viable alternatives to corporate social media is the most viable approach.

          I’m starting to wonder if you actually read the article because it answers your questions quite clearly.

          The problem of people saying things online, essentially, or perhaps something else?

          The problem that information is being centralized around a small number of large commercial entities. The only goal of these entities is to make profit by any means necessary. These entities control which ideas and opinions are seen and shared and who sees them. If you don’t see how that’s problematic, I really don’t know what to tell you.
