    I’d be happier if it implemented the Andrew FS as an option. This seems geared primarily to legacy NFS users.

      Sure, Andrew was a good distributed filesystems, but it also had serious warts.

      The goal here was to provide persistent elastic cloud storage for EC2 instances.

      Is Andrew FS still under active development? I think you’d be surprised at how many non ‘legacy’ users out there are still using NFS in production.
