Any game demos yet? I’m excited to see what people come up with.
From the reasoning outlined, the author points to no-GC-needed and direct C compatibility as key drivers for Kitlang (or at least that’s what I understood).
Would be interested to know why other languages that have optional GC and zero-friction interoperability with C did not fit: ( eg BetterC (subset of D), Zig, and Nim with realtime-GC or off).
Overall though, for my own education purposes seeing a general-purpose language done by one person in a-less-than-few-years-time, learning from it, is very useful, and inspiring too.
